Louisiana Bonsai Society

About the society.

The Louisiana Bonsai Society was founded on October 15, 1976, and has been Baton Rouge's bonsai club ever since. Members grow, train and show trees suited to our own heat and humidity, including bald cypress collected from Louisiana swamps. The society runs workshops, beginner programs, demonstrations and exhibitions through the year, and its living collection will be kept at the Rural Life Museum at Burden Garden, 4560 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge. It is a member club of the Lone Star Bonsai Federation.

We meet on the third Tuesday of each month. Beginners are welcome at every meeting.
